Good Deal Or Bad Deal on this OLD VALIUABLE MJ RECORD?
So im a big mj fan. and i recently spotted a store that has some records.Now records are very hard to get your hands on if you want the orginals. Sure you can buy them at some used record shop or on ebay or watever. but most stores they either asking to much or it is a messed up vinyal and they are overpricing it. What I want to get your opion is If you think this is a good deal for a record. Do you remember Michael Jackson before he started his solo career. He was in the jackson 5 group. so what i am asking is i found a record at a place in my home town that is selling this record for 75 dolllars. Is this a good deal. the record he said is very good. Now you probably are thinking well any record store is going to say that about their record but he said there are known for the best records in town . The record that i want is Diana Ross Presents the Jackson 5. Here is a picture i listed the link here so u click on it. Now this record is more then 45 years old and is very top condition as what he said. I will be later going to see how it looks. but by the way he makes is sounds it is a good deal. Now the record is a used record mine you that so it’s not like it is brand new right in the package. But the condition he said is was is was LIKE NEW. I have a credit card but i don’t want to buy it off ebay just because there are scams and so on i rather purchase it my hometown and where i live. I know I can purchase it on CraigsList but i prefer like i said before close to my home. Alll im asking for is if i should pay that amount. He also is seeling me and original Thriller Vinyal for 25 dollars. which i am willing to part with since it is an origingal pressing record. So should i buy that record Diana Ross presents the Jackson 5. It is a used record but in very good condition as he said which i will see and decide but i want to know if i should buy it and how much money to bring. the record is 40 years old so very hard to find. and it is like i said before and original pressing. now please if u have n questions plz let me knoe. i will be going to his store in the next 2 weeks so i want to know if that is a resonable price for a record like that or if he should sell it cheaper. If u also have some good prices that you think that record should be sold for please let me know so i can talk him down. I know he probably will not part with going down but I just ask him. He said he checked online and ebay and that is what they are going for. but to be honest i think it is way to much. You have written many lines of text in an attempt to convince your self that this is a good buy. Yet in the end its you who’s money you will be spending. So providing your happy what does it matter what we think.
But if you asking will these increase in value, I would say not enough to make it a good business venture.
Over the last 6 months I have found LP records on line that are no longer available. One is advertised at US$99 and the second is anything from AU$20 to AU$100.
In my eyes these prices are not good value and lucky for me as I next found a guy in the us who sells these LP as CDs so I got the music I wanted all for less than the original $99 for 1 LP.
Often when a person dies the items rise in value and then settle down. Lets hope that has already happen.
